Laser Cutter
Now onto the laser cutter. In fact, Two Trees has a whole bunch of them to suit all needs, but let’s look at the TS2 model.
That’s the Two Trees TS2 laser cutter/engraver below.
The TS2 laser cutter features 10W output and a smart auto-focus laser for slicing through lighter materials and engraving harder materials with ease. Example given: it can cut through 8mm thick plywood as if it was nothing.
This particular laser system has a fairly hefty work area of 450mm x 450mm to enable engraving and cutting of larger pieces. Additionally, it comes with a flame detector function.
Like most laser engraving/cutting systems the TS2 supports LaserGRBL, and LightBurn software.
The TS2 is available now for $699.
You can read more about the TS2, and other laser engravers from TwoTrees over at this link. The TS2 is the one of the larger in their laser cutter options and they come in a variety of sizes for a range of needs.
The TS3 for example comes with its own enclosure, exhaust pipe & an optional smoke filter for those concerned about fumes generated while cutting. It also comes with a compressed laser spot, 10W powerful laser from double 5W, integrated flame detector & fire alarm, built-in honeycomb workbench, cylindrical engraving feature and control/operation with WIFI and mobile APP.
That retails for $869, and it looks pretty sweet with its handsome blue enclosure.
